What Keeps Me Up At Night?
(Hint: It's not all bad news...)
6:00 - 7:30 PM
Thursday, March 25
Lowell Observatory
Community leaders share their ideas, concerns and challenges with the FLP and Flagstaff communities. This highly entertaining and thought-provoking event is an excellent way for alumni to get caught up on current issues; it also provides community members with an opportunity to get a taste of what FLP is like prior to applying for the program.
This year, the focus will be on the economy - both local and state-wide challenges - as well as our education system and the changes we're facing in that sector of the community. We look forward to sharing new ideas, explaining some of the current problems and hearing from the experts in these fields.
Panelists:
Barbara Hickman - Flagstaff Unified School District Superintendent
Mike Kelly - W.L. Gore & Associates Plant Leader
Gary Seley - Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Board Chair
Mike Townsend - Coconino County Deputy City Manager
What Keeps Me Up at Night is generously sponsored by Flagstaff Medical Center. The facility is provided to us courtesy of Lowell Observatory. Light refreshments will be provided.
Please mark your calendars and plan on joining us for this unique opportunity to learn about our local challenges and opportunities.
